Vanderbilt Chemicals, LLC is fortunate to be the Distributor of Rubber Polymers for three "World Class" manufactures: DuPont Neoprene Polychloroprene, Vamac® Ethylene Acrylic Elastomer (AEM) and Viton™ Fluoroelastomer - ExxonMobil Chemical, Exxon™ Butyl, Exxon™ Bromobutyl, Exxon™ Chlorobutyl and Vistalon™ Ethylene Propylene Diene (EPDM) - Zeon Chemical Nipol® IR Polyisoprene
The Unique Chemistry of SpectraSyn® Polymer Modifier
For technical applications requiring a wide range of service temperature and improved mechanical properties with key benefits that include improved processing, higher crosslink density, lower compression and tension set, increased permanence and enhanced low- and high- temperature performance.
Nipol® IR 2200L Polyisoprene
Nipol® IR 2200L, a lower Mooney viscosity version of Nipol® IR 2200, is a polyisoprene rubber (high cis-1,4 content) which is very similar to natural rubber in its molecular and micro structure. Sufficient nonstaining antioxidant is added during manufacture for normal aging conditions.
Vamac® Ethylene Acrylic Elastomer (AEM) - Heat and UV Resistance
Parts made from Vamac® elastomers have good heat and UV resistance because the polymer backbone is fully saturated. They have good fluid resistance to engine oils and transmission fluids.
