VANFRE® B40

Processing Aids

VANFRE® B40 improves the homogeneity of polymer blends of different polarities or viscosities. It is rapidly absorbed by the polymer matrix as it wets the surfaces, which leads to fast incorporation of other compound ingredients. The reduction in compound viscosity will assists further processing, especially milling and calendering.


VANFRE B40 is best added at the beginning of the mixing cycle in order to achieve the optimum wetting affect. Due to its dark color, VANFRE B40 is not recommended for light colored compounds. The recommended dosage is 4 to 15 phr.
